The Five Pillars of Coaching for Personal Leadership
I coach on unlocking energy and embracing the courage to change. In our coaching conversations, I work with five key pillars that support this process.
Trust your strengths
I believe we all carry the strength we need. When you connect with it and start using it fully, your energy begins to flow — and what once seemed out of reach becomes possible.
Awareness unlocks change
Change starts with awareness. When you understand what truly moves you, you gain the clarity to grow, shift, and lead with intention.
The power of systems
You don’t exist in isolation — your environment, your history, and the systems around you all shape how you feel, think, and act. I coach with a solution-focused approach: we don’t need to dwell on the past, but we do look at how your surroundings influence you. What belongs to you, and what comes from others? That awareness helps you lead from clarity instead of habit.
The power of rhythm and structure
Change isn’t always easy — it can be uncomfortable, even painful. Whether it’s getting fitter, speaking with confidence, or breaking old habits, it takes effort. That’s where rhythm and structure come in. Small, steady routines — like running every Monday and Wednesday at 8 a.m., or planning your week on Sundays — help you stay grounded. Your brain needs time to adapt. It takes about six weeks for new patterns to stick, because only then does your brain decide: this matters. And when it does, change becomes lasting.
The power of movement
I believe in the power of movement — both mental and physical. As Bob Dylan sings: “He who is not busy being born is busy dying.”
Mental movement keeps you curious, awake, and open to growth. Physical movement helps your energy flow and reconnects you with your body. How you move is personal, there’s no one right way. I practice Qi Gong daily, as a way to stay present and centered.
When you have mastery over these five forces and they are aligned with each other, you naturally achieve your goals.
